Common sense is the best guide. When parking your scooter, always make sure it is located in a legal parking area. Also, make sure your key cable lock is used to secure your scooter to a tree, post, etc. The proper method for security, is place the cable through the spokes on the rear wheel and around the stationary post.My keys, besides starting the scooter, what are they for?
Obviously, you’ll receive a key to start the scooter. The second key is to open the helmet storage unit at the rear of the scooter. The third key is the key for the cable lock that is provided by American Electric. Note: prior to you embarking on your day’s rental, you will receive instructions on all parts to the scooter. The keys will all be grouped together and placed on an expandable wrist bracelet so they won’t get lost.
